Whilst there is not too much to report I will only update the blog weekly.

There was no news on the UK house move last week (not sure if that is good or bad??).

However in Bulgaria the team is making rapid progress. The roof of the laundry room and man-cave, sorry office, definitely an office Pamela, is almost complete. All new beams and waterproofing are up.

Weather permitting this roof should be completed this week and work can start on the holiday let roof. Goodness knows what our new neighbours think but at least whilst they are sat out of an evening they will have some new topics of conversation!!

Whilst it is frustrating with all the UK delays, it does allow all the work we cannot do ourselves to be completed. Every cloud as they say..........

 

 

Another pot hole

In true Bulgarian road style we have hit another pot-hole.

The day before exchange the house sale chain has collapsed again. This is a really interesting journey. We feel so sorry for our buyers C & D, they are a lovely family who don't deserve this. However, we will all get through this and the destination for us all will be worth it. 3rd time lucky hopefully.

Back in Bulgaria, Borko and his team had started work on one of the barns by taking the roof off. Sadly we only have limited funds left so he will put a new roof onto what will be our guests laundry room and our office and then have to stop work. We are so sorry for having to keep messing our friends in Bulgaria around but it is what it is.

So for now we are sat again waiting to go. Borko and his team are sat waiting for us to get more funds for them to continue work. And our dogs are sat exhausted on their bed wondering why they are getting so many walks. We are so lucky in our little world and have so much to be grateful for but boy do we wish this journey had reached it's end. And of course winter is fast approaching...........
